Ventnor Downs Circular

This circular walk explores the downs north of Ventnor on the Isle of Wight, offering an energetic route with extensive coastal and countryside views. Starting from the car park on Bonchurch Down, the route follows clear tracks and paths across varied terrain, passing landmarks like a radar station, radio masts, and Freemantle Gate. The walk climbs steadily along the Stenbury and Worsley Trails, reaching high points like Shanklin Down with its trig point offering panoramic views. The route traverses several downs including St. Boniface, Steephill, and Luccombe, passing through Wroxall village before returning to the starting point.
