Port Erin to Peel along the coast

Isle of Man, Isle of Man

This challenging coastal walk follows the Raad ny Foillan (Way of the Gull) from Port Erin to Peel, covering nearly 26 kilometres with significant ascent. Starting at Port Erin Railway Station, the route climbs Bradda Head, passing Milner's Tower with its panoramic views. Hikers will traverse steep cliff paths, ascending to Bradda Hill - one of the Isle of Man's five Marilyn summits. The route includes dramatic climbs to Lhiatee ny Beinnee and Cronk ny Arrey Laa, reaching 1,434 feet with spectacular views towards Niarbyl. Highlights include Fleshwick Bay, Glen Maye's waterfall, and coastal scenery. Walkers should be prepared for challenging terrain, steep ascents, and close cliff-edge paths. Water and good navigation skills are essential.
